MARGARET GALLAGHER is the host of CBC Radio's North by Northwest, BC's highest rated weekend radio show. She's been part of the CBC family for 25 years, previously appearing on The Early Edition, On the Coast, and as the host of Hot Air. Margaret has won numerous awards, including three National RDTNAs, a Webster Award, an Asian Heritage Month Pan Asian Recognition Award and a Community Builder Award from the Hapa-palooza festival of mixed roots. She has a deep passion for the written arts and always has at least two books on the go.

PROFESSOR TURI KING is renowned for presenting complex findings on DNA and genetic science in an accessible and compelling way and has won awards for her public engagement in science. Having grown up in Ontario and British Columbia, she is now Director of the Milner Centre for Evolution at the University of Bath and was previously Professor of Genetics and Public Engagement at the University of Leicester. She is an Honorary Fellow of the British Science Association, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, a Member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences and a Member of the International Society for Forensic Genetics. She is well known for her academic work leading the genetics and identification of Richard III, advising on the case of Mary Jane Kelly (the last victim of Jack the Ripper) and leading the project on sequencing Hitler’s genome.
