82. The Wall Between: Q&A with Raja G. Khouri

82. The Wall Between: Q&A with Raja G. Khouri

This event is a screening of a pre-recorded conversation, followed by a live Q&A with author Raja G. Khouri. For the virtual version of this event, see event 01. The Wall Between.

Raja G. Khouri joins us in-person to host a screening of his pre-recorded conversation with Jeffrey Wilkinson, in which they discuss their groundbreaking work, The Wall Between: What Jews and Palestinians Don’t Want to Know about Each Other.

On October 3, 2023, authors Raja G. Khouri and Jeffrey Wilkinson published this book, exploring the wall that exists between Jewish and Palestinian communities. This wall is not only one of concrete, but distrust, enmity, and hate, fueling the breakdown of civil discourse in public spaces around the world. Since publication, division, violence, and intergenerational trauma have exponentially increased. The wall is up. How can it be dismantled with dignity and safety for all? Following the conversation screening, Khouri will answer audience questions in a space for listening and reflecting on how we can all work towards a lasting peace. Moderated by Avril Orloff.
