There should be a word for the specific pleasure one receives from racing through a novel, impatiently looking for the next clue, devouring each page while not wanting the story to end. While we think of one (tell us your suggestions), let’s spend an evening with three writers who do just this: write clues like no other. Sarah Henstra’s eponymous The Lost Tarot is key to unraveling decades of secrets in a novel of art and deception. Tom Ryan’s The Treasure Hunters Club offers a rollicking mystery about a secret society, nautical charts, and a treasure to die for. Stephanie Wrobel’s latest, The Hitchcock Hotel, is a dark, suspenseful novel in which a reunion with members of an Alfred Hitchcock film club goes wrong. Just how do they do it? Find out tonight. Moderated by Robert J. Wiersema.
