36. Gumboot Kids

36. Gumboot Kids

Adorable creatures, bountiful nature, and a mystery to solve? It’s this perfect combination that’s behind husband-and-wife team Eric Hogan and Tara Hungerford’s exceptional Gumboot Kids books—and the popular TV show of the same name. In this event, they’ll be captivating kids with The Case of the Disappearing Castle and The Case of the Noisy Neighbour. First, Daisy and Scout are looking for answers when the sandcastle on the beach magically disappears! Where did it go? Then, the duo are puzzled by a strange knocking sound in the forest. Who’s making all that noise? This promises to be an outstanding storytime of warmth and delight. Grades K–3.
