20. Masterclass with Candace Savage

Candace Savage has spent decades studying the fascinating world of crows and the natural world, and helps youngsters get up close and personal with these clever corvids in How to Know a Crow. She’s also going to help students understand what it takes to transform observations about the world around us into compelling stories and prose. Fulsome and fascinating, Savage will share amazing stories and multiple tips based on a lifetime of writing. By the end of this Masterclass, students will gain a deeper insight into what it means to be a writer… and how to translate what we observe onto the page. Grades 4–7.
