DRE. MAGALI BLANC comes from the south of France (Alès). She is a lecturer in French at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). She holds a PhD in modern and contemporary French literature and is particularly interested in the notion of identity in Frenchspeaking authors. Her dissertation was entitled La construction de soi en l’absence de la figure parentale chez Marine Delvaux, Annie Ernaux et Georges Perec.
