Information for Teachers
School group tickets go on sale on Wednesday, September 13 at 8:00am.
All of our 2023 Youth Events are happening in person on Granville Island, as well as via livestream.
Tickets to attend in person are $10 each. Teachers can reserve seats with a 50% non-refundable deposit and we will provide you will an invoice to have your school issue a cheque for the remainder.
VWF offers ticket and bus subsidies for school groups based on need.
If you’re approved for a bus subsidy, VWF will reimburse you after the Festival. We require a copy of your bill to process this subsidy.

School Subsidy Request Form
If money is a barrier to your class attending Vancouver Writers Fest in person, please submit a subsidy request and indicate whether you require a partial or full reduction of ticket price (regular price $10 per person, subsidies of either $0 or $5 each).
You can also indicate below if you need reimbursement for the cost of bus rental for the field trip.
