EMI SASAGAWA is a settler, immigrant and queer woman of colour, living and working on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories in Vancouver. An award-winning journalist who has reported on a wide range of social issues, she is currently completing a Creative Writing MFA at the University of British Columbia.
