2024 Notice of Annual General Meeting

We look forward to seeing Vancouver Writers Fest members at our Annual General Meeting (and members-only Book Sale!) on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Please click the links below to access important documents for the AGM.

The purposes for the meeting include:

1. To approve the minutes of the AGM held in June 2023.
2. To receive the Auditor’s Report on the Financial Statements for 2023.
3. To appoint the Auditor of the Society for 2024.
4. To elect new Board Members.
5. To consider, and if thought fit, pass the attached resolution to amend the bylaws of the Society as a special resolution requiring the approval of a majority of not less than two thirds of the votes cast by voting members at the meeting.
6. To transact such further or other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
