Wade Davis

Wade Davis has been described by David Suzuki as “a rare combination of scientist, scholar, poet and passionate defender of all of life’s diversity.” Davis is an internationally bestselling author, a former Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society, and a member of the NGS Council of Explorers. He has written seventeen books and holds degrees in anthropology and biology, as well as a PhD in ethnobotany, all from Harvard University. He has two new books this fall: Cowboys of America and Wade Davis: Photographs, a selection of 150 of Davis’s favourite photographs from his forty-year career.
