The Vancouver Writers Fest announces a Special Event this fall with internationally celebrated chef and author Yotam Ottolenghi.
One of the world’s most celebrated chefs thanks to his creative yet accessible recipes, Israeli-British restaurateur and writer Yotam Ottolenghi speaks with chef and cookbook author Meeru Dhalwala in Vancouver as part of a North American tour celebrating his latest cookbook in a long line of bestsellers: Ottolenghi SIMPLE.
Bursting with colourful photography, the book showcases Ottolenghi’s standout dishes that suit whatever type of easy cooking one feels like in the moment—whether that’s getting wonderful food on the table in under 30 minutes, using just one pot to make a delicious meal, or a flavoursome dish that can be prepared ahead of time.
The charismatic and thoughtful chef shares both professional and personal insights.He’ll discuss some of his favourite tips from the kitchen in this new offering, and engage in a mouth-watering discussion about his passion for food, his rise to fame as a superstar of the London culinary scene, where his passion for food emanates from, important collaborations and whether his fame has affected his cooking at home. All will be revealed in this compelling evening of conversation.
