Do you remember the last time you left an event buzzing with ideas; uplifted by the creativity and vision of a writer?
At the Vancouver Writers Fest, we encourage readers of all ages to explore the power of storytelling, and books, through our dozens of events with local and international writers. We have brought the world’s greatest minds to our stages, hosting authors such as Ian McEwan, Naomi Klein, J.K. Rowling, Lindy West, Marlon James, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Roxane Gay, and Ian Rankin, among many others.
Will you help us continue to bring world-class authors to our local stages?
Your donations are needed to bring acclaimed authors to Vancouver. For every event we produce, ticket sales and government grants cover only 65% of the cost. We rely on the support of donors—like you—to support the rest of the expense.
The Vancouver Writers Fest cannot continue to bring the world’s most talented minds and powerful writers to our stages without supporters like you. Your contributions help local community members engage with books and ideas that confront today’s most pressing issues through their writing. Together, we can uplift our community and encourage everyone to actively participate in our society.
By becoming a donor, you will not only receive exclusive donor benefits; you are helping make Vancouver a world-class arts and culture city.
