Peter Gajdics (pronounced “guy-ditch”) is an award-winning writer and the author of The Inheritance of Shame: A Memoir, which tells the story of his six-year journey through, and eventual recovery from, a form of “conversion therapy” in British Columbia. Some of his essays, short memoir and poetry have appeared in Maclean’sThe AdvocateThe Gay and Lesbian Review/WorldwideBrevity, and Cosmonauts Avenue, among others. He lives in Vancouver, BC.
