It’s a takeover! In a special Vancouver Writers Fest event, celebrated multidisciplinary artist and author Vivek Shraya will be taking over our Facebook for readings, music, conversation and the virtual launch of her much-anticipated second novel, The Subtweet.

Exploring social media and female relationships, The Subtweet follows the lives of two emerging musicians and the catastrophic consequences a single tweet can cause. The Subtweet is a stirring examination of art in the modern era, a love letter to brown women, an authentic glimpse into the music industry, and a nuanced exploration of the promise and peril of being seen.

RSVP to this event early for a chance to win a copy of the book and submit a question you’d love answered during the live stream. Then, log in to Facebook on April 15 at 7pm PST for the show!

Follow the Vancouver Writers Fest on Facebook to receive a notification when this one-of-a-kind live event begins.
