In a special, inaugural “mini” Incite event, special guest and author Tara Henley (Lean Out: A Meditation on the Madness of Modern Life, Appetite by Random House) speaks with Mandy Len Catron (How to Fall in Love with Anyone, Simon & Schuster) about maintaining connection and reducing anxiety and depression in times of international crisis––especially when the cure is social distancing.

A memoir at its core, Lean Out is a confrontation of the status quo, and a reminder that we have the power to change our culture to meet our needs. From banging pans around the country in the evening to our daily Zoom conference screens, there are urgent and exciting practices for community emerging from a world at an unprecedented stand-still.

Join us on Instagram for this special event on Monday, April 6 at 5pm PST, where we will be streaming live at @vancouverwritersfest.

Presented by the Vancouver Writers Fest in partnership with the Vancouver Public Library with support from the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association.
