Lindy West has become a household name for her fierce, funny and forthright analyses of contemporary culture. The Washington Post has praised West for[defying] clichés both by being persistently hilarious and deeply loving.” On December 3, she shares her newest book, The Witches Are Coming, with professor and Secret Feminist Agenda host Hannah McGregor for an electric conversation on feminism, misogyny and meme culture in our precarious political moment.

Presented in partnership with the Master of Publishing (MPub) program at SFU.

About The Witches Are Coming
The Witches Are Coming is a wickedly funny, razor-sharp and unapologetically feminist series of essays. Equally witty and wise, West exposes the cultural narratives that led to #MeToo, the rise of Trumpism and white entitlement. The Witches Are Coming is a reckoning, turning a mirror on our society’s most damaging ideas – in order to explore how we resist them. Praised by Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and NYT bestselling author of Full Frontal Feminism Jessica Valenti, The Witches Are Coming has been named a fall must-read by Bustle, TIME, Bookriot, USA Today and more.

We have been working with Vogue Theatre to ensure that all Lindy West ticket buyers are comfortable at the show. If you require accessible seating, including special requests for your comfort, please contact or call them at 604-688-1975.
