Hollywood North Writing Workshop

Left Coast Crime, an American convention for mystery authors and mystery fans, is coming to Canada for the first time in history. Whale of a Crime, Left Coast Crime Convention #29, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, March 28 to March 31 and will feature Toastmaster Cathy Ace, American Guest of Honour CJ Box, Canadian Guest of Honour Maureen Jennings, Local Legend William Deverell, Ghost of Honour the late LR Wright, and Fan Guests of Honours Don and Jenn Longmuir from Scene of the Crime Books. There will be over 250 mystery authors from all over Canada and the United States and from far-flung places as Singapore (Ovidia Yu) and the Shetland Islands in Scotland (Marsali Taylor). 2019 Alcuin Awards Gala
