Sarah de Leeuw
Sarah de Leeuw is an Associate Professor with the Northern Medical Program at UNBC and member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of new Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Her collection of creative non-fiction essays, Where It Hurts, is a finalist for the 2017 Governor General’s Literary Award in Non-fiction. Her second book of poetry, Geographies of a Lover, won the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. For two consecutive years, she was honoured in the creative non-fiction category of the CBC Literary Awards.
