NATALIA GARCÍA FREIRE was born in Cuenca, Ecuador. She teaches Creative Writing. This World Does Not Belong to Us, her debut novel, was nominated for the Tigre Juan literary award and selected by the New York Times as one of the best Spanish-language books of 2019. (ECUADOR)
