Anosh Irani

Anosh Irani is a bestselling author whose previous work has been shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize, Canada Reads and the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize. He was born in Bombay and moved to Vancouver in 1998. His play Bombay Black was a Dora Award winner for Outstanding New Play and his anthology The Bombay Plays was nominated for the Governor General’s Award for Drama. The Parcel is his powerful new work about a transgender sex worker in the red-light district of Bombay who is given an unexpected task.
