Andrew Westoll is an award-winning narrative journalist and internationally published author. A former biologist and primatologist, Westoll’s writing explores our relationship with the natural world. His second book, The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary, was a national bestseller and winner of the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction. The Jungle South of the Mountain is his debut novel, a story of loss and redemption in the jungles of South America. Westoll holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and currently teaches at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
